This policy describes how Karaage collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
We collect information you provide when creating an account (email, name) and content you upload (resumes, job descriptions). We also collect basic usage analytics.
Your data is used to provide the service — generating tailored resumes, managing applications, and processing payments. We do not sell your personal data.
Your data is stored securely on Google Cloud Platform. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
The Resume Karaage browser extension reads job posting content (title, company, and description) from supported job boards to facilitate resume tailoring. It reads the access_token cookie from resumekaraage.com solely to authenticate API requests to our own service on your behalf. This cookie is never sent to any third party and no data from it is stored or logged by the extension. No browsing history or data from other sites is collected.
